The Stadthaus is open daily and admission to the exhibitions is free. Even if parts of the Stadthaus are closed due to exhibition changeover, there is still a lot to discover!
Our rooftop terraces will always offer the most remarkable views of the Minster and the Minster Square, no matter what season. In summer deckchairs are inviting you to take a little break amidst flower beds and beehives.
Our bees have been living on the terraces for a few years now. If you are very lucky you might be able to score a jar of honey in summer, but it usually sells out rather quickly.
At the moment there are crocus bulbs available to purchase from our bee food vending machine. If you plant them in your garden, they will provide food for the bees at your place.
In summer our bees are living in a beehive designed by Jonathan Meese. Nadja and Wanda Wollinsky won it at a Süddeutsche Zeitung competition in 2023. We would like to thank them for this permanent loan to the Stadthaus bees.
Are you looking for a good read? You may discover something new in our bookshelf every day. Feel free to take a book.
Do you feel like a cup of coffee? Our staff at the info desk on the third floor are happy to prepare a cup of coffee for you. Enjoy it in our little reading corner or on the terrace.
On the third floor there is also a little shop selling photography books and other souvenirs related to the Stadthaus and our exhibitions.
Our 360° virtual tour allows you to explore the Stadthaus from home.
