Verein für moderne Musik Ulm / Neu-Ulm e.V.
The association for contemporary music was founded in 1976 to establish high-quality international contemporary jazz and improvised music in Ulm / Neu-Ulm. The goal was and still is to present new and newest styles. International stars such as Herbie Hancock, Renaud Garcia-Fons and Carla Bley as well as upcoming young artists like Pablo Held and Trish Clowes have been invited, making the association for contemporary classical music one of the renowned institutions for contemporary music in the South-West of Germany.
The Stadthaus and the Verein für moderne Musik e.V. have been cooperating since 1996.
